Meet Rev. Miller

Harold Miller, Jr., a native of Jackson, Mississippi is the Pastor of the New Hope Baptist Church of Covington, GA. Before coming to New Hope in January of 1999, Pastor Miller had served several churches in his home state of Mississippi since 1982.

Pastor Miller accepted the call to the ministry in April of 1978 and preached his first public sermon on July 11, 1978 at the Free Mission Missionary Baptist Church in Jackson, Mississippi. He was ordained as a Baptist minister in February of 1979.

Miller is a graduate of Mississippi College (Clinton, MS 1996), B. A. Biblical Studies and Luther Rice University (Lithonia, GA 2009), M. Div.

He is married to the former Ms Margie Jean Wilder and resides in Covington, GA
